Lindy Donnelly arrived into the field of interior design via an extensive prior career as a fashion designer. As a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, she worked in the fashion industry in New York as a designer for a wide range of companies for many years, most notably as head designer for Tommy Hilfiger, Inc. She travelled extensively to Hong Kong to develop collections and supervise manufacturing.
Deciding to use her talent and business acumen from the fashion world and strike out on her own into interior design, she moved back to her native home in the Bay Area where she apprenticed with Barbara Scavullo Design before starting her own interior design practice in 2003.
Lindy is an active member of the Junior League of San Francisco, an organization of women providing volunteer hours and financial support to local non-profits. She has been involved with the Home Tour, a major fund raising event for the League for the past four years as a designer and chairperson. She is a member of The Atherton Dames which raises funds to make improvements to Holbrook-Palmer Park. Lindy is also a member of The Art Deco Society and the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art. She belongs to a Hawaiian cultural center, Halau o'Kekiali'i, learning hula dancing and traditional Hawaiian culture.
She lives and works on the Peninsula in San Mateo County.
I am never more pleased than when a client tells me they love their home.
